Alfred Hitchcock Presents
The master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock hosted a weekly anthology series on CBS aptly titled Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Each 30 minute episode included opening and closing vingettes featuring Hitchcock who would often explain some aspect of the day's show. The stories were both original screenplays and adapted from other material.
The series ran for 7 seasons, from October 1955 through June 1962.
