Columbo

Columbo aired on NBC as part of the NBC Mystery Movie series (with McCloud and McMillan and Wife, and later Quincy ME) from March 1971 through May 1978 and included 45 episodes over 7 seasons. A made-for-television movie aired in February 1968 before the series began regular production.

From February 1989 through January 2003, 24 new episodes were aired on ABC on an irregular schedule.

Peter Falk starred as Lieutenant Columbo, a homicide detective for the Los Angeles Police Department.
