CSI
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is the original CSI crime drama series set in Las Vegas; additional editions are set in Miami (CSI: Miami) and New York City (CSI: NY).
The series, which first aired on CBS in October 2000, starred William Peterson as Gil Grissom, the head of a group of talented investigators who use cutting-edge forensic tools to examine the evidence to solve the case.
Peterson left the series at the end of 8th season and was replaced by Laurence Fishburne, who plays Dr. Raymond Langston. Ted Danson replaced Fishburne in the 12th season, starring as new CSI head D. B. Russell.
