Foyle's War
Foyle's War is a mystery series produced in the UK and set during World War II.
The series, which first aired in October 2002, concluded its 6th and (presumed) final season in 2008 and starred Michael Kitchen as Detective Chief Inspector Christopher Foyle, a police officer in the coastal town of Hastings. The series was created and written by Anthony Horowitz.
The final episode of the 6th season concluded with the end of World War II. Viewer demand, however, prompted the production of three additional seasons, all of which were set in the post-war years.
(Note: For the purposes of releasing DVDs, the 4th and 5th season, each of which had two episodes, were combined into Set 4. Set 5 is the 6th season, Set 6 is the 7th season, etc.)
