Hawaii Five-O aired on CBS from September 1968 through April 1980 and included 284 episodes over 12 seasons.

The series starred Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett, the head of a (fictional) elite state police unit; the "Five-O" is reference to Hawaii being the 50th state admitted to the US. The series was filmed entirely in Hawaii.
