Inspector Lewis

A spin-off from the long-running Inspector Morse series, Inspector Lewis (titled simply Lewis in the UK) stars Kevin Whately as Detective Inspector Robert "Robbie" Lewis of the Thames Valley Police based in Oxford. The series is set chronologically five years after the death of Inspector Morse.

Following the popularity of a 2006 made-for-television movie (now called the "pilot" for the series), three additional episodes aired in early 2007. Four more episodes comprising the second season aired in early 2008.
