Jesse Stone
Jesse Stone aired originally on CBS, later on Hallmark Channel, as a series of made-for-television mystery movies based on the character created by Robert B. Parker.
The movies star Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone, a former Los Angeles cop who is now chief of police in the small Massachusetts coastal town of Paradise.
The first few movies are adapted from Parker's books; the later ones are original screenplays.
