Dick Van Dyke stars as Professor Jonathan Maxwell, a university criminologist, in this series of made-for-television movies that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel. Van Dyke's real-life son, Barry Van Dyke, co-stars as Mike Bryant, a former cop now working as a private investigator.
This series shared an irregular rotating broadcast schedule with McBride, Jane Doe, and Mystery Woman.
