This anthology-style crime drama aired for four seasons on ABC, initially as 30-minute episodes for its first season (after which it was canceled), then as 60-minute episodes for its second through fourth seasons.

Filmed on location in New York City, the series starred Harry Bellaver, James Franciscus, and John McIntire as police officers of the 65th Precinct, but most episodes centered around an extensive list of actors, who guest starred each week.
