Proof

Proof starred Orla Brady and Finbar Lynch as investigative reporters. Set in Ireland, the series (actually two mini-series of four episodes each covering different crimes) aired its first season in the spring of 2004 and the second a year later.

In the first season, the murder of a car thief and the suspicious death of a corrupt account are linked to human trafficking and a candidate for Prime Minister. In the second season (subtitled: "Prescription for Murder"), the deaths of two scientists are linked to corrupt politicians and their relationship with big business.
