David Janssen stars as private detective Richard Diamond in this early television crime drama, created by actor Dick Powell, who starred as the character in a radio series. Initially set in New York City, the action moved to Los Angeles for the final two seasons.
Only two episodes from the first season -- "Picture of Fear" and "The Chess Player" -- have been released on DVD or are available to stream online.
