Serpico

David Birney stars as NYPD detective Frank Serpico in this crime drama based on the 1973 film of the same title, which stars Al Pacino in the title role, itself adapted from the novel Serpico by Peter Maas. Airing on NBC during the 1976/1977 television season, it was canceled after 14 episodes.
