Tenspeed and Brown Shoe

Ben Vereen and Jeff Goldblum starred as partners in a Los Angeles private detective agency in Tenspeed and Brown Shoe, a 1980 mid-season replacement series on ABC that lasted just 14 episodes.

E. L. "Tenspeed" Turner was a paroled hustler who was assigned to work with former accountant Lionel "Brownshoe" Whitney, who fancied himself as a film noir-style private eye.
